About Bookaroo®

Bookaroo® is an online ticketing facilitation platform operated by FlowIQ (Pty) Ltd.

Bookaroo provides technology that enables independent event organizers to list and sell tickets to their events. Bookaroo does not organize, host, manage, or control any events listed on the platform.

Merchant of Record

The event organizer is the merchant of record for all ticket sales.

When you purchase a ticket, you are entering into an agreement directly with the event organizer.

Bookaroo acts solely as a technology service provider.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers configured by the event organizer (e.g., Yoco or Paystack).

Bookaroo® does not receive, hold, or control customer funds.

Where applicable, Bookaroo® may receive a platform service fee through a split settlement arrangement facilitated by the payment provider.

Refunds & Cancellations

All refund and cancellation policies are determined by the event organizer.

Customers must contact the event organizer directly regarding:

• Refund requests
• Event changes
• Cancellations
• Ticket disputes

Bookaroo® does not issue refunds unless required by applicable law.

Event Changes & Cancellations

Bookaroo® is not responsible for:

• Event cancellations
• Schedule changes
• Venue changes
• Non-performance by the event organizer

Responsibility for event delivery rests solely with the organizer.

Chargebacks & Disputes

In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback:

The event organizer is responsible for responding to and resolving the dispute with the payment provider.

Bookaroo® may assist administratively where necessary.

Financial responsibility for chargebacks rests with the organizer.

Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

• Use the platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
• Attempt to manipulate pricing or payments
• Engage in chargeback abuse
• Interfere with the platform's security

Bookaroo® reserves the right to suspend access for violations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bookaroo®'s total liability shall not exceed the service fees charged for the relevant transaction.

Changes to Terms

Bookaroo® reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
